## Challenge

Bone-modifying agent use in breast cancer patients with bone metastasis had not been comprehensively characterized in real-world oncology practice, limiting understanding of adherence to evidence-based guidelines.

## Solution

Target RWE researchers analyzed oncology EMR and claims data to characterize bone-modifying agent use across breast cancer patients with bone metastasis, describing real-world utilization patterns and predictors of guideline-concordant therapy.

## Impact

Establishing real-world BMA utilization benchmarks in breast cancer provides oncology drug development partners with contextual evidence needed to position novel agents and identify care gaps representing commercial opportunities.
