Healthcare Disparities in Atopic Dermatitis: Insights from TARGET DERM Registry (2023)

Challenge

This is a RAD Spring 2023 poster version of the same healthcare disparities study as Row 9 (manuscript) and Row 37 (Fall Clinical 2022). Conference presentation of the finding that Non-Hispanic Black and Hispanic patients face greater AD severity and lower AST utilization.

Solution

TARGET-DERM AD registry analysis comparing clinical severity and AST utilization rates by race/ethnicity.

Impact

Multi-venue dissemination of AD disparities evidence at key dermatology conferences builds awareness of the treatment access gap, amplifying health equity advocacy across the clinical community.
