Inference for transported real-world effects.
Sequential nested trial emulation reduces immortal-time bias, but it complicates standard-error estimation, especially once you transport the estimate to a target population. The common fix, nonparametric bootstrap, can be computationally heavy.
This poster examines M-estimation as an alternative approach to standard-error estimation in that setting. It is a methods talk for teams doing transportability and target-trial-emulation work.
